The best daytime shows on TV all have great hosts. Besides being fun to watch the host has to be likable or the show will go nowhere.
One of these shows is "Deal or No Deal" with Howie Mandel. The show consists of 22 models, each holding a briefcase numbered from 1 to 22. One of these cases holds a million dollars. The contestant's case is chosen randomly by a spinning wheel. The player then can choose to keep or trade that case. They then open up the cases to see how much money is in each case. As they open them, a banker offers them money for their case to send them home. Some contestants have sold their case, which contains the million dollars, for almost nothing. It is a great show filled with risk.
Another good daytime program is "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Oprah has such down-to-earth stories about regular people from all over the world. She goes out of her way to make their lives easier for them when they appear on her show. You can see the compassion in her eyes as she shares their sad stories. She also has some guests with a spouse in the armed forces who they haven't seen in several years and she reunites them for a few days. There are also stories about lost loves who have been looking for each other for years. Oprah manages to find them and reunite them on her show, surprising them both.
