This is the time of year (spring and summer) when the movie makers in Hollywood starts to gear up for that great summer movie season. The spring time movies have started to hit the movie theaters and many of them are being very well received.
Current movies that are out cross all boundaries, age groups and cover just about every movie style you might like. In animation, the new Monsters Versus Aliens 3D is out and is receiving rave reviews from the kids (and adults) that have watched it.
In the heart throb teen age girl category, Zach Efron is scoring points for the movie 17 Again. This movie is about a man who goes back to his teen years to learn some life lessons.
If you're into cars, Fast and Furious has another of its series out. It is full of car racing and all the underpinnings of that genre.
Intrigue and drama are high in State of Play. The cast of the movie is awesome, with Russell Crowe and Ben Affleck playing leading roles.
Of course, on the crass side, Crank 2- High Voltage is out but is not recommended for kids because of its graphic scenes and language.
Lastly, back to the younger audience, Hanna Montana: The Movie has hit the screens. Millions of Miley Cyrus fans can't wait to get in to see her again.
Movie season is in full swing. The variety is vast in the current offerings, and you are sure to find something that you can enjoy. So get your ticket and go lose yourself in a movie for a few hours.
