Pop Princess Britney Spears

Britney Spears is hugely popular and is a truly ditsy diva. Followed by the paparazzi as much for her public antics as her music, Britney has gained fame for late-night clubbing and the strange way in which she's raising her two children. Born in McComb, Mississippi in 1981 and raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, Britney is one of three children. She first appeared on "Star Search" and was later cast on "The New Mickey Mouse Club." At 13, she started out on her own when the show ended.

Britney released her first album at age 16, Baby One More Time. She followed it up with a second album at 18 and has released four more. She is traveling in a nationwide tour until May of 2009, and then will head to London.

Britney married Kevin Federline in October 2004 and had two children. The couple divorced in July 2007.
